OPERATOR, POWER PLANT(NO HVAC)

Per Diem Patient Transporter Atlantic Health Morristown Medical Center is seeking a Per Diem Patient Transporter. Required hours vary, including every other weekend. Starting rate $20.52/hr. This position is eligible for the Atlantic Health System #teenhiring initiative. Essential Function/Responsibilities Ascertains patient name, destination, mode of travel, time, and other data, following written or verbal instructions. Guides or escorts incoming patients from the admitting office or reception desk to a designated area. Carries the patient's luggage. Assists patient in walking to prevent accidents by falling, or transports non-ambulatory patient using a wheelchair. Transports patient alone or with assistance in bed, wheeled cart, or wheelchair to designated areas within the facility during the patient's stay. Delivers messages, mail, medical records, and other items. Performs other related duties as assigned. Qualifications/Requirements High school diploma or GED/Equivalent required or will obtain within one year of employment. Must be able to read, write and speak English. Ability to work well under time constraints. Physical requirements: may be exposed to extreme cold and extreme heat; must stand for long periods, bend, lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. Must be 16 or older (prior to hire must complete NJA300 Combined Certification Form/Working Papers). If 16 or 17 years old, valid working papers required. Relevant Experience CPR certification preferred.
