Our operational hours are Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, ensuring that you have no evening or weekend commitments. Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Welkins Mind Healthcare, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Managing a caseload of clients by establishing and nurturing therapeutic relationships that adhere to professional ethics and boundaries.

• Conducting regular sessions to evaluate client progress, discussing concerns, and planning for discharge as appropriate.

• Developing, implementing, and monitoring personalized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs and goals.

• Maintaining thorough and timely documentation, including progress notes and intake assessments, to comply with legal and ethical standards.

• Facilitating individual therapy sessions, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for clients to express their thoughts and feelings.

• Engaging in individual supervision and peer consultation to enhance your clinical skills and personal growth.

• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure an integrated approach to client care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clients you will work with at Welkins Mind Healthcare include a diverse array of individuals representing various backgrounds and mental health concerns. Your expertise will be applied to help clients dealing with issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, and other behavioral health challenges. You will have the chance to tailor your therapeutic approach to suit the individual needs of your clients, promoting effective treatment outcomes and improved quality of life.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a closely related field.

• An active, unrestricted license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Arizona.

• A minimum of one year of clinical experience in an outpatient setting following graduation.

• Demonstrated ability to employ strong communication, critical thinking, and listening skills in a counseling environment.
