Key Responsibilities

• Engage with patients to thoroughly assess their physical conditions, medical history, and rehabilitation needs.
• Accurately diagnose movement dysfunctions and develop personalized treatment plans that align with patient goals.
• Educate patients in the performance of therapeutic exercise techniques to maximize recovery potential.
• Employ hands-on treatment methods such as manual therapy, soft tissue mobilization, or therapeutic modalities to promote healing.
• Assist patients with the safe use of mobility equipment, including wheelchairs and walkers, ensuring independence and confidence.
• Maintain detailed patient records, documenting progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary to meet changing needs.
• Provide guidance to patients and families regarding in-home exercises and treatments to encourage ongoing progress outside of therapy sessions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
• A valid state license to practice physical therapy in Florida.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
• Proficient in electronic health record systems and word processing tools.
• A flexible mindset, capable of adapting to the dynamic needs of patients and the facility.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a physical therapy setting.
• Experience working with a variety of patient demographics and conditions.
• Familiarity with the latest rehabilitation technologies and treatment methodologies.

Compensation and Benefits

The selected candidate will receive an annual salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to competitive pay, we offer an extensive benefits package that includes:
