Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Viability Physical Therapy, you will:

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients with a range of conditions, including post-surgical recovery, chronic pain, and rehabilitation needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate various techniques and tools, such as therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and specialized equipment, focusing on pain relief and mobility enhancement.
• Track patient progress diligently, documenting treatments, responses, and outcomes, and making necessary adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
• Educate patients, their families, and caregivers on specific therapy techniques and the use of assistive devices to foster independence in daily activities.
• Contribute to a collaborative team environment by participating in regular meetings and working closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in physical therapy by attending workshops, reviewing industry publications, and engaging in professional associations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on a diverse patient population across all age groups. You will work with individuals recovering from injuries, surgeries, or managing chronic illnesses, providing tailored care that reflects their unique challenges and goals. This role requires you to understand and adapt to the varied physical therapy needs of each client in their home environment.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE).
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) and essential computer skills.
• A strong commitment to patient-centered care and the ability to work independently in various home settings.
• A flexible and adaptable mindset to meet the changing needs of patients and the organization.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
