ComForCare Home Health Care Respite Caregiver

Join ComForCare Home Health Care in San Diego as a Respite Caregiver, where you will make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals with autism and disabilities. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to provide compassionate care and support to those in need.

Provide personal care and support for individuals with autism and disabilities.

Assist with daily living activities, including meal preparation and hygiene.

Engage clients in social and recreational activities to enhance quality of life.

Monitor and document client progress and any changes in behavior.

Communicate effectively with families and healthcare professionals.

Ensure a safe and clean environment for clients.

Provide respite for primary caregivers, allowing them time to recharge.

Participate in training and development opportunities to improve caregiving skills.

Previous experience in caregiving or related fields preferred.

Understanding of autism and disabilities, with a compassionate approach.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.

CPR and First Aid certification preferred.

Willingness to undergo background checks and training.

Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
