Role Responsibilities

• Assess individuals across pediatric, adult, and geriatric demographics utilizing both standardized assessments and observational methods.
• Craft tailored treatment plans that encompass both immediate objectives and longer-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing needs.
• Deliver individualized speech therapy sessions targeting communication, language skills, fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing capabilities.
• Collaborate seamlessly with physical therapists, occupational therapists, physicians, nurses, families, and caregivers to devise comprehensive care strategies.
• Provide education to patients and their families to foster progress outside of clinical interactions.
• Participate in infrequent inpatient evaluations and interventions to ensure a smooth continuum of care.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation in compliance with state, federal, and institutional protocols.
• Stay engaged with the latest advancements in the field through continuous education and collaborative learning with peers.

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet ASHA-certified.

Certifications

• Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within the first month of employment.
