Proof of the Pudding serves professional and collegiate sports venues, convention centers, cultural institutions, and large-scale destination events across the United States and Internationally.We are seeking a Staffing Coordinator for the Credit Union of Texas Event Center in Allen, Texas. Responsible for full-cycle staffing of the Concessions Department, focusing on the recruitment, training, and retention of Non-Profit groups and hourly employees to work in food concession stands. This position has a strong focus on the game-day scheduling of volunteer groups and hourly employees.ControlsAdequately recruits Non-Profit groups to volunteer at the ArenaAdequately schedules Non-Profit groups to meet operational needs and target goals.Ensures compliance for Non-Profit groups policies, licensures, and procedures in accordance with Proof of the Pudding Core SignaturesEngages regularly with staff and volunteers providing a high level of customer service/Human Resources presenceManages relationships with Non-Profit groups to ensure standard operating procedures are met providing follow up and continued guidanceConsistent and constant feedback and communication to ensure retention and responsivenessOrganize group needs weekly – touch base regarding upcoming events and registration activityAdditional ResponsibilitiesAssists team on event planning and executionSupports team to ensure hourly staff and Non-Profit groups are adhering to Proof of the Pudding Company guidelines as stated in team member training manualParticipates in general office duties: meetings, cleaning, filing, and other similar administrative activities*Responsibilities are not limited to this listRequirementsStaffing/Human Resources/Marketing experience OR an associate degree or higher in a related field (Human Resources, Hospitality, etc.)Experience with Non-Profit groups is a plusAble to communicate effectively with management team, guests, and team membersBasic Knowledge of Programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPointStamina to work 50 hours a week if neededMust be able to work extended shifts of 10 hours or more as business dictatesMust be flexible with schedule and able to work different shiftsMust be able to reach, lift, stoop, bend and perform extensive standing and walking (including stairs) throughout shiftAbility to use hands in using office equipment, including the computer systemProof of the Pudding and its affiliates are an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to inclusion and employing a diverse workforce.
