Specialist, Maintenance Planning

Specialist, Maintenance Planning Our team produces membranes for filtration and purification applications in the ultra‑high purity semiconductor industry. The Maintenance Planner ensures technicians have the tools and parts required to complete work orders and break‑fixes, schedules maintenance efficiently, and coordinates with production to optimize equipment availability and reliability. Responsibilities Enter changes to CMMS preventive maintenance frequency and procedures based on data and feedback from engineering, production, and maintenance teams. Create and update work instructions for maintenance activities. Review closed work orders for completeness and accuracy. Report weekly maintenance performance metrics such as MTBF, MTTR, and reliability. Work closely with Maintenance and production teams to schedule, plan, and coordinate preventative and corrective maintenance work orders. Coordinate with outside contractors to ensure timely completion of maintenance work orders. Process preventive maintenance extensions and ensure compliance with the quality management system. Work with the Parts Manager to maintain spare parts inventory and ensure parts are available for maintenance work orders. Collaborate with the Indirect procurement team on supplier-related challenges. Participate in Job Safety Task Analysis to ensure all jobs are done safely. Qualifications Minimum five years of experience in a maintenance role in a manufacturing environment; planning experience preferred. Motivated, self‑directed team player with strong interpersonal skills. Experience with a CMMS and SAP platform required. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated understanding of preventative and predictive maintenance practices. Proficient computer skills; Microsoft Office required. High focus on detail, safety, and quality. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines; demonstrates leadership. Success Metrics Work effectively with a diverse team to improve efficiency and manufacturing robustness. Balance short‑term production needs with long‑term project deliverables. Take ownership of maintenance planning, scheduling, and inventory systems. Use data to inform decisions and drive manufacturing excellence. Benefits Compensation: $72,500‑$90,000 per year, dependent on skills. Annual bonus eligibility. Progressive paid time off.
