About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Biometrics to take on a pivotal role in leading the Biostatistics, Statistical Programming, and Data Management functions. This senior leader will be instrumental in the development of treatments for respiratory diseases, particularly at a critical stage in the lead program's development. The successful candidate will be a key member of the R&D Leadership Team and Asset Team, providing both technical and strategic input to the organization. Responsibilities include inheriting and building upon a strong, functioning organization, as well as ensuring the team is adequately resourced, structured, and prepared for global Phase 3 execution and regulatory filings. Applicants for the Vice President of Biometrics position at the company should have a proven track record in a similar leadership role within the clinical R&D or biotechnology industry. The role requires a deep understanding of biostatistics, statistical programming, and data management, with the ability to provide technical leadership and strategic input. The ideal candidate will have experience in global Phase 3 clinical trials and regulatory submissions, and be adept at managing and preparing teams for simultaneous, high-stakes projects. A strong educational background in a relevant field, such as a Ph.D. in biostatistics, statistics, or a related discipline, is typically required. The role demands a visionary leader who can drive the biometrics function forward and contribute to the overall success of the company's drug development programs.
