Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments for both patients and their families, considering various factors such as motivational levels, psycho-social dynamics, and the psychological ramifications of any physical ailments or substance dependencies.

• Utilize evidence-based practices to evaluate, diagnose, and treat a range of mental health conditions, including anxiety disorders, mood disorders, substance use disorders, behavioral issues, and developmental disorders.

• Set achievable and personalized treatment goals for clients through the application of various psychotherapeutic approaches, including cognitive and behavior therapies, crisis intervention strategies, and family or group counseling techniques.

• Explain and apply psychological principles and methods to observe, diagnose, and treat patients suffering from emotional or behavioral disorders, ensuring individualized care that addresses specific needs.

• Maintain clear and concise documentation of clinical data and patient progress in accordance with organizational policies, ensuring all records are objective and relevant.

• Collaborate with fellow team members and community organizations to develop and implement effective care plans and interventions.

• Engage in continuous professional development activities to stay informed of the latest therapeutic techniques and standards within the field.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary clientele will include adult patients, many of whom are navigating the complex intersection of mental health and academic responsibilities. This may involve working directly with educational institutions to support students facing challenges that impact their educational attainment and overall well-being. By offering both in-person and remote options, you will be equipped to reach clients where they are, actively supporting their journey toward improved mental health.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited higher education institution, which includes completion of a professional internship.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in Washington state.

• Evidence of providing psychological services in an outpatient or consultative capacity within the last 12 months.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
