Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver high-quality clinical services to children and families, ensuring the application of best practice standards and evidence-based treatment models.

• Provide brief, targeted behavioral interventions to support patient mental health considerations, including assisting in the management of chronic health conditions.

• Collaborate effectively with schools, social service agencies, and other healthcare providers to maintain a continuum of care, ensuring families have access to necessary resources and support.

• Facilitate compliance with legal requirements by monitoring assigned clients and working closely with court personnel to manage legal risk assessments.

• Engage in regular consultations to evaluate patient progress and adapt treatment plans based on individualized needs and goals.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role is on children and families within the Olympia community, particularly those who may be facing various challenges, including social, economic, and health-related issues. You will actively support patients from diverse cultural backgrounds, adapting your approach to meet their unique needs with sensitivity and respect. Your experience will be invaluable in working with unhoused populations, understanding the challenges they face, and connecting them with resources.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or a related field is required.

• A minimum of three years of clinical experience as a licensed social worker, demonstrating a solid understanding of behavioral health assessment and treatment.

• Specialized training or experience in integrating behavioral health services within primary care settings is desirable; however, training will be provided if necessary.
\n
• Strong knowledge of Medicaid, Medicare, and private insurance systems.
\n
• Proven ability to work with individuals from various socio-economic backgrounds, demonstrating cultural competence and sensitivity.
