Production Associate

This role focuses on machine operating, inspecting, documenting, and assembling medical equipment in a clean room manufacturing environment. You will rotate through multiple production stations, learn a variety of tasks, and help ensure that every product meets strict quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Inspect medical equipment components and finished products to ensure they meet established quality and safety standards.
• Accurately document inspection results, production activities, and any issues or deviations according to internal procedures.
• Assemble medical equipment at various production stations, following detailed work instructions and diagrams.
• Operate production machinery safely and efficiently, including starting, stopping, and monitoring equipment as required.
• Work across up to six different stations, including clean room operations, assembly, machine operation, quality checks, inspection, and general manufacturing tasks.
• Follow clean room protocols at all times to prevent contamination of products and maintain a controlled environment.
• Handle materials, tools, and components carefully to avoid damage and ensure traceability and proper identification.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production targets and resolve any issues that may arise during the shift.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with workplace safety and cleanliness standards.
• Report equipment malfunctions, quality concerns, or process deviations promptly to the appropriate personnel.

Essential Skills

• At least 1 year of production experience in a manufacturing or similar environment.
• A minimum of 6 months of quality or inspection experience, including visual checks and documentation.
• At least 6 months of machine operating experience in a production setting.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and standard operating procedures accurately.
• Strong attention to detail when inspecting products and completing documentation.
• Capability to work at multiple stations and adapt to different tasks throughout the shift.
• Comfort working in a structured, process-driven environment with strict quality requirements.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Previous clean room experience, particularly in medical device or similar regulated environments.
• Familiarity with clean room protocols and contamination control practices.
• Experience working with personal protective garments such as gowns, shoe covers, and gloves.
• Ability to work an afternoon and evening shift schedule from Monday through Thursday.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills to coordinate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.

Work Environment

This position is based in a clean room manufacturing facility that produces medical equipment. You will work a Monday through Thursday schedule from 2:30 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. The environment requires strict adherence to contamination control procedures. In the clean room, you must wear specific garments, including shoe covers, hair and facial hair covers, a full gown or jumpsuit, and latex-free gloves. To protect product integrity, you may not smoke or use products such as perfume, nail polish, hair spray, or makeup during work hours, as these can introduce particles or contaminants. The work involves standing for extended periods, rotating between different stations, operating machinery, and performing detailed inspections in a controlled, safety-conscious setting.

This is a Contract position based out of Franksville, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.75 - $22.75/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
