Company DescriptionDynamic, growing Real Estate Co. in Morris County NJ is hiring!Seeking Property Accountant to join the team, Interviews begin 3/16/15, apply now!Job DescriptionProperty AccountantJob Summary: Prepares monthly, quarterly and year-end financial statements/reportingpackages, and performs a wide variety of accounting analysis.Responsibilities:Performs a wide variety of accounting functions including: Prepare month-end closing and quarterly financial statements. Prepare journal entries and maintain workpapers Analyze and explain significant budget variances Prepare annual budgets and reforecasts Prepare CAM and Real Estate Tax reconciliations Prepare Workpapers and other information for auditors Analyze available cash position of real estate projects Assist management with special projects Analyze closing/financing documents to identify applicable accounting treatmentfor the transactionsQualificationsQualifications Demonstrated ability to work independently on assigned responsibilities and meetdeadlines. Bachelor Degree in Accounting and two to three years of experience which includes all aspectsof accounting for commercial real estate office buildings (not residential butretail will be considered) Or Bachelor Degree and five years of general accounting experience that includesmonthly closes and journal entry preparation, as well as full accountingresponsibilities for a business unit within a small to mid-sized firmAdditional Information$60K-65K Range + BonusSummaryType: Full-timeFunction: Accounting/AuditingExperience level: AssociateIndustry: Real Estate
