Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Valid teaching certification in Special Education (state-specific or eligible for reciprocity)
• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Special Education or related field
• Prior experience teaching students with disabilities in a school setting
• Knowledge of developing and implementing IEPs
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Responsibilities/Duties:

• Create and deliver engaging, individualized lesson plans for students with special needs
• Assess students’ progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed
• Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and parents to support student success
• Maintain accurate records, including progress reports and IEP documentation
• Foster an inclusive, supportive learning environment
