Supervisory Program Analyst

Position Overview This position is in the Food and Drug Administration's (FDA's) Office of the Commissioner (OC), Office of Operations (OO), Office of Finance, Budget, and Acquisitions (OFBA). The incumbent serves as a Branch Chief providing the full range of supervisory responsibilities over multiple team leaders and subordinate specialists. Serves as subject matter authority on all aspects of travel programs and activities under the purview of the office. Key Responsibilities • Provide supervisory leadership over multiple team leaders and subordinate specialists. • Serve as subject matter authority on all aspects of travel programs and activities. • Conduct studies to evaluate travel operations. • Develop policies or procedures to improve operational efficiency in travel management. • Supervise or lead a team of travel specialists. Qualifications • Grade GS-14, within the 0343 occupational series. Must meet Time-in-Grade requirements by 11:59 p.m. EST on 07/27/2026. • Minimum qualifications: One year of specialized experience equivalent to at least GS-13 in federal service, including expertise in conducting studies on travel operations, developing improvement policies, and supervising a team. • Experience may have been obtained in federal service, state or local government, private sector, or non‑governmental organizations. • Documentation required (e.g., signed memorandum, SF-50, SF-52) indicating full‑time or part‑time status and degrees of duty performed.
