Desired background and experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders (for SLP roles)
• Current or eligible state licensure/certification (SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, and/or SLPA)
• Clinical experience in schools or pediatric settings highly valued
• Teletherapy background welcomed, but not required
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with teachers, families, and colleagues
• Ability to create individualized plans and adapt interventions for students’ unique needs

In this role, you will:

• Assess, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders in children from diverse backgrounds
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement IEP goals
• Deliver engaging individual and group therapy in person and/or via teletherapy platforms
• Monitor student progress, maintain thorough documentation, and participate in IEP meetings
• Provide guidance and support for SLPA candidates, as applicable
• Participate in professional development to stay current on best practices in school-based services
