This position operates remotely, allowing for flexibility in scheduling while providing high-quality care to patients at a detox center in Potomac, Maryland. As part of our multidisciplinary team, the LCSW will utilize a telehealth framework to deliver therapeutic interventions, ensuring that clients receive the support they require in their recovery journey.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough bio-psychosocial evaluations to assess patients' mental health status and identify barriers to effective treatment.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including both individual and group therapy sessions.

• Collaborate closely with medical personnel and support staff to coordinate care, ensuring that all aspects of a patient’s physical and emotional health are addressed.

• Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment interventions as necessary to maximize their health outcomes and compliance.

• Educate and empower patients and their families by providing guidance on medical and social work recommendations aimed at achieving optimum functioning.

• Document all social work services and interactions in accordance with departmental standards and maintain up-to-date patient records.

• Engage with community resources and advocacy organizations to facilitate comprehensive support for patients and enhance their social safety net.

• Stay current on best practices in social work and participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily serves individuals undergoing detoxification from substance use, which often presents complex and multifaceted psychosocial challenges. LCSWs in our organization must demonstrate sensitivity and adapt their therapeutic approaches to meet the unique cultural and developmental needs of this population.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited program.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Maryland.

• A strong understanding of the intricacies of mental health, aging processes, and social determinants of health.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least 6 months to 1 year of clinical experience within a health or mental health setting, particularly with populations similar to those served at our detox center.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers an attractive salary range of USD 85,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
