Maintenance Technician (Industrial Facility)

We are currently hiring a Maintenance Technician to support daily operations in a fast-paced industrial environment. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional with experience in mechanical, electrical, and facility maintenance who can ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtime. You will play a key role in maintaining production efficiency, performing preventative maintenance, and supporting plant operations. Responsibilities Maintain mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems Perform daily safety checks and equipment inspections Respond to service calls and emergency maintenance issues Develop and follow weekly maintenance plans Prepare daily reports and monthly preventative maintenance schedules Communicate with Plant Manager to minimize downtime Coordinate maintenance activities without disrupting production Order, stock, and manage inventory of parts and tools Provide monthly cost reduction recommendations Coordinate with external maintenance vendors and services Prepare facility for audits and vendor visits Operate forklifts and lifting equipment as needed Requirements Ability to perform multiple skilled trades (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) Experience using tools, machinery, and maintenance equipment Welding experience required Strong electrical aptitude Ability to perform physically demanding work Ability to detect issues and complete repairs independently Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills Ability to respond to emergency situations Comfortable working in confined spaces and at heights (up to 30 ft) Experience operating forklifts and jib cranes Basic computer skills Overtime and weekend availability as needed Pay $25.00 – $35.00 per hour (based on experience) Ready to take your maintenance career to the next level? #J-18808-Ljbffr Primary Staffing Inc.
