The result: we simplify what's become a really complex retail landscape and help brands scale faster and smarter.We're looking for an Account Manager to support a VP of Sales and help grow a portfolio of Walmart suppliers by owning day-to-day account operations, solving problems quickly, and helping brands navigate Walmart's complex ecosystem. This role sits at the center of the relationship between our clients, Walmart, and our internal teams. You'll be responsible for keeping things moving, identifying opportunities, resolving issues, and ensuring brands are set up for success both in-store and online. This position is based in Bentonville, Arkansas.Operational Execution & Workload ManagementOversee daily Walmart account operations, including issue identification, escalation, and resolutionManage key operational processes, including sales recaps, cost changes, CO-OP programs, DSV, and import initiativesPrioritize competing business needs and coordinate cross-functional resources to ensure timely executionMonitor performance metrics and prepare reporting, recaps, and insights for client meetings, line reviews, and business updatesEnsure compliance with Walmart execution standards, including planograms, pricing integrity, merchandising, and in-store executionPartner with internal teams to proactively identify risks, remove roadblocks, and maintain operational alignmentSupport execution of strategic account initiatives while ensuring day-to-day operational excellenceClient & Supplier Management / OnboardingServe as a key point of contact for clients, suppliers, and internal teams, supporting the VP of Sales in the day-to-day management of Walmart accountsLead client onboarding and supplier Vendor Agreement processes, ensuring a smooth transition into Walmart's ecosystemGuide clients and suppliers through Walmart systems, processes, and best practices, serving as a trusted resource for operational questions and issue resolutionVendor & Item ManagementCreate, set up, and maintain items within Walmart systems and online platforms, ensuring product data is accurate, compliant, and optimized for successManage item costs, Brand IDs, attributes, and catalog integrity while maintaining data accuracy across Walmart and internal systemsIdentify and resolve item setup, maintenance, and system-related issues to minimize disruptions and support business objectivesOversee both domestic and import item programs, including operational processes such as QMS and Supplier QuotesPartner with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely execution of item launches, updates, and ongoing maintenanceOmni-Channel & eCommerceSupport eCommerce initiatives and omni-channel execution across Walmart's digital and in-store platformsEnsure Walmart.com listings meet content quality standards and align with brand and retailer objectivesOptimize product content, item visibility, and online performance to drive sales growth and improve the customer experienceReporting, Forecasting & Financial SupportMonitor performance and vendor metrics to identify trends, risks, and growth driversDevelop and manage forecasts to support business planning and improve account performanceSupport quoting activities, Template/PO file maintenance, CO-OP programs, and new item handoffsAnalyze reporting and performance data to provide actionable insights and recommendations to clients and internal teamsMaintain accurate program records and documentation to support account execution and business planningWhat We're Looking For Experience3–5+ years of experience in retail account management, vendor management, retail operations, or a related fieldExperience working with Walmart (corporate, vendor, or agency side) requiredExposure to eCommerce, omni-channel operations, or product catalog management is a plusExperience working with forecasting, sales reporting, or business analytics preferredSkills & Competencies:Strong organizational and project management skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentStrong analytical and problem-solving capabilitiesExcellent communication and relationship-building skillsProficiency with Walmart Retail Link or similar retail systems preferredDetail-oriented with a strong sense of ownership and accountabilityOur Commitment:We prioritize the inclusion of diverse perspectives.
