We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Intern to join our Accounting team. This internship provides hands‑on experience supporting day‑to‑day accounting operations while working alongside experienced accounting professionals in a collaborative office environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a student or recent graduate looking to gain practical accounting experience and develop professional skills within a growing organization. Key Responsibilities Assist with bank account reconciliations Process accounts payable invoices and assist with check processing Support the review of accounts payable statements Assist with balance sheet reconciliations alongside the Accounting Manager and Controller Support Staff Accountants with equipment usage entry into the company ERP system Assist with recurring monthly general ledger entries and payments Help prepare month‑end journal entries Provide audit support as needed Assist with special projects and other accounting‑related duties as assigned Qualifications Education & Experience Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Basic understanding of GAAP accounting principles Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables and lookup formulas preferred ERP system experience is a plus, but not required Skills & Abilities Strong organizational and time management skills Detail‑oriented with strong accuracy and follow‑through Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines Analytical and problem‑solving abilities Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and Outlook Work Environment This position operates in a professional office environment with moderate noise levels and standard office equipment use.
