The business specialises in electronics recycling and the recovery of valuable commodities and materials from end‑of‑life electronic equipment. This role is ideally suited to someone with a strong hunting mentality who enjoys outbound business development, market segmentation, analysing sales data, and continuously improving their approach through customer feedback and performance metrics. THE ROLE:

Drive high‑volume new business activity through outbound calls, emails, prospecting campaigns, networking, and customer visits. Identify, segment, and target new markets and customer groups while continuously refining messaging and sales approaches using data and feedback. Manage and grow customer relationships across electronics recycling, commodity recovery, secure destruction, and related service offerings. Analyze sales performance, pipeline activity, and market trends to maximize revenue opportunities across local and national markets.

THE PERSON:

Proven business development or sales experience within a high‑volume, transactional, or activity‑driven sales environment. Strong hunter mentality with a track record of generating opportunities, opening new accounts, and building sales pipelines from scratch. Commercially analytical with the ability to use CRM systems, sales metrics, AI tools, and customer feedback to improve performance. Self‑motivated, resilient, and comfortable balancing outbound sales activity with face‑to‑face customer meetings and relationship development. The salary advertised is the bracket available for this position. The actual salary paid will be dependent on your level of experience, qualifications and skill set.
