Work Environment\n

This role is designed for remote work, allowing you to engage with students and families effectively from your own space. While the core working hours are from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, some flexibility is required, including potential evening and weekend availability. Your primary workspace will be virtual, utilizing secure electronic health record (EHR) systems to track and document client interactions and progress. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring a collaborative approach to treatment planning and implementation.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and comprehensive mental health assessments for students to establish their unique needs and challenges.

• Develop, implement, and regularly evaluate individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s specific mental health issues and educational goals.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, utilizing a range of modalities suited for issues such as ASD, learning disabilities, ADHD, and trauma.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, promoting personal growth, coping strategies, and emotional regulation among students.

• Collaborate with educators, behavioral specialists, and other healthcare professionals, ensuring that students receive holistic care that encompasses both mental and educational support.

• Offer immediate crisis intervention and ongoing support during mental health emergencies, contributing to a safe and supportive school environment.

• Educate students and their families about mental health conditions, available resources, and support systems, fostering greater awareness and accessibility.

• Maintain precise and accurate clinical documentation that adheres to legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

• Actively participate in team meetings, case conferences, and professional development activities to continuously improve your skills and integrate new practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with students facing various mental health challenges, including autism spectrum disorder, emotional and behavioral disorders, attention- deficit/hyperactivity disorder, and trauma. This role requires a deep understanding of the unique needs of this population, allowing you to provide tailored support that fosters their emotional and educational development in partnership with their families and educational staff.

Qualifications\n

• Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid LCSW licensure in the state of Colorado.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure clinical experience is highly preferred.

• Proficiency in conducting mental health assessments, diagnosing conditions, and creating effective treatment strategies.

Compensation and Benefits\n
