Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with Serenity Hope and Healing, you will take on a variety of important responsibilities, including:

• Conducting thorough assessments and developing personalized treatment plans, which may involve crisis intervention plans, behavioral guidelines, risk assessments, and medication management support.

• Documenting client interactions and treatment progress promptly and accurately, in compliance with regulatory standards.
\n
• Employing evidence-based screening tools to effectively assess and monitor client needs as dictated by our clinical protocols.
\n
• Collaborating with other programs and teams to create and implement positive behavior support plans tailored to individual client requirements.
\n
• Actively engaging in licensing and accreditation processes to ensure compliance and high-quality service delivery.
\n
• Serving as a key liaison with relevant service systems, state agencies, and community partners to enhance client care and service continuity.
\n
• Establishing and nurturing relationships with local, state, federal, and private agencies to promote our programs and secure potential funding opportunities.
\n
• Pursuing professional development through attending conferences, workshops, and other training events to enhance your skills and knowledge in mental health counseling.

• Promoting and integrating the agency's mission, values, and philosophy within the community and through client interactions.

• Performing other responsibilities as directed by the Clinic Director, contributing to the overall success of the organization.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clients you will serve vary widely, as we cater to individuals facing challenges related to emotional health, substance use recovery, developmental issues, and housing instability. You will engage with clients from diverse backgrounds, collaborating with them to navigate their specific challenges and helping them develop strategies for sustainable recovery and independence.

Qualifications\n

To qualify for this position, candidates must possess the following:

• A Master’s Degree in a mental health-related field is required.

• An independent LMHC license issued by the state of Massachusetts is mandatory.

Preferred Experience\n

If you hold a license from another state, we offer to cover the fees associated with obtaining your Massachusetts licensure, making it easier for you to transition to this role.
