Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct virtual comprehensive psychosocial assessments to evaluate the unique strengths, needs, and challenges faced by students and their families in a school setting.

• Develop and implement evidence-based therapy and counseling services for individuals, families, and groups, utilizing methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), play therapy, and mindfulness-based strategies.

• Collaborate closely with teachers, school counselors, and other healthcare providers to create integrated care plans that support the overall well-being of students, advocating effectively for resources and interventions as needed.

• Document all client interactions, treatment progress, and outcomes accurately in electronic health records to ensure continuity of care and compliance with regulatory standards.

• Engage in professional development through team meetings, case conferences, and continuing education activities aimed at enhancing your clinical skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be students within the Yakima school district, who may be dealing with various mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, behavioral problems, and the impact of trauma. You will be instrumental in providing support not only to the students but also to their families, empowering them with the tools needed to navigate complex situations and improve their overall mental health and functioning.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in the state of Washington.

• A minimum of two (2) years of post-licensure experience providing clinical social work services, particularly in a school or community mental health setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n
