In your new role, you will delve into both inpatient and outpatient settings, expertly evaluating patients and crafting personalized treatment plans tailored to their specific needs. You'll apply various physical therapy techniques aimed at enhancing mobility, strength, balance, and overall functionality. You will also collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team including nurses, physicians, case managers, and fellow rehabilitation professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. You will empower patients and their families through education on therapeutic goals, home exercises, and discharge planning while meticulously documenting evaluations and treatment progress in line with facility standards. Your participation in interdisciplinary team rounds will ensure that each patient receives the coordinated care they deserve.
Qualifications Needed:
- Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent from an accredited program.
- Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
- CPR certification preferred; specialized certifications (neurological, geriatric) are welcomed but not required.
Essential Skills:
- Previous clinical experience strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in treating complex mobility and medical issues.
- Exceptional collaboration and communication skills.
- Familiarity with digital charting and clinical documentation systems.
