General Summary: The Engineering Intern assists the Manufacturing Engineering Team with production projects, continuous improvement initiatives, and capital justifications. The position provides hands‑on engineering experience in an Aerospace facility. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Reads and interprets blueprints, symbols and geometric tolerances based on military and commercial specifications. Generates drawings from models. Edits drawings on tool sheets or setup instructions. Creates work instructions for jobs or special processes. Works on special projects, such as implementation of Zoller software. Submits flight safety documents. Designs fixtures. Works on other projects as assigned by Manager. Position Requirements Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: Junior/Senior Mechanical Engineer or Manufacturing Engineer. Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office. Working knowledge of AutoCAD or SolidWorks, preferred. Extremely well‑organized with superior attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
