Michael Best & Friedrich LLP’s growing Corporate Practice is looking to add a Corporate Attorney with a minimum of 10 years’ experience to our Salt Lake City office. The attorney will serve as a business advisor to clients, guiding them in a full range of legal matters throughout their life cycle. In this role, the attorney will handle all aspects of complex transactions for clients of all sizes and across industries. The attorney will also have the opportunity to gain direct client interaction, business development experience, and significant responsibility for complex and sophisticated legal matters. The ideal candidate will have experience in the following areas: Strategic counseling clients on mergers and acquisitions Structuring, negotiating and integrating corporate acquisitions Assisting emerging and established companies in corporate and finance matters Early-stage company formation Business plan review and advice Working with lenders and borrowers in structuring and negotiating financial transactions Drafting transaction agreements and documents Managing transaction closings and processes Providing through factual and legal research and analysis Overseeing more junior team members A minimal portable book of business is preferred but not required.
