Candidates based in Moline, IL may also be considered at the hiring manager's discretion.Perform treasury accounting activities for the U.S. and Canada, including month-end close, account reconciliations, and preparation of disclosures for regulatory and SEC filings.Monitor and analyze daily cash activity and funding transactions.Develop interest expense forecasts for the U.S. and Canada.Serve as subject matter expert and partner with Corporate Treasury and other stakeholders on funding initiatives and special projects.Identify and implement process improvements, including automation.VISA Sponsorship is NOT available for this positionWhat Skills You Need3 or more years of accounting experienceStrong understanding of US GAAP (US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)Excellent communication skills, with strong attention to detailProven analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet reporting deadlinesDemonstrated track record of process improvement and automation in accounting workflowsWhat Makes You Stand OutFinancial Services / Treasury experienceEducationIdeally, you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or FinanceWhat You'll GetAt John Deere, you are empowered to create a career that will take you to where you want to go while working in an inclusive team environment.
