KTS has an opportunity for a full-time Special Education Teaching Assistant (TA) beginning with the 2026/2027 school year. Working hours are 8:30 am to 4:15 pm M - F. EOE Hourly Rate of $19 - $24/hour, DOE Teaching Assistant position responsibilities include: Assist teachers in implementing content area curricula Guide and assist students in the classroom in following the teacher’s instruction and school/program rules Provide necessary accommodations to meet individual, group, and program needs Create a supportive learning environment Implement Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) Document student progress through written notes and narrative reports Experience and Skills Required Experience for the Teaching Assistant: MUST have a Bachelors Degree Experience with students with learning disabilities, Autism, intellectual disabilities, and/or other health impairment preferred Knowledge of education and behavior management methods, procedures, and techniques helpful Must be reliable, maintain a professional attitude, and be team oriented Ability to read, write, and speak English clearly #J-18808-Ljbffr TLC - The Treatment & Learning Centers, Inc
