Bookkeeper

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Bookkeeper with accounts payable and accounts receivable experience to join our finance team. This is a high-volume, hands-on role focused on maintaining accurate financial records for our physical products distribution business (Plumbing & Heating equipment). The position focuses on AP however we are looking for someone with full-cycle AP/AR processing, reconciliations, reporting, and general bookkeeping in our ERP/accounting systems to support smooth operations, cash flow, and compliance.

salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per year
shift: First
work hours: 9 AM - 5 PM

Responsibilities

• Proficiency in accounts payable (invoice processing, vendor payments, statement reconciliations) and accounts receivable (invoicing, payment application, aging management, collections).
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage high-volume data entry, reconciliations, and multitasking in a transaction-heavy environment.
• Very comfortable with computers, accounting software, and Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, reporting).
• Ability to produce accurate financial reports, support audits/tax filings, and identify discrepancies proactively.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with vendors, customers, internal teams (sales, warehouse, operations), and leadership.
• Organizational skills and ownership to see tasks through to completion independently.
