About the Opportunity
We're seeking a detail oriented, organized, and self motivated HR Coordinator to join a growing HR team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys the operational side of Human Resources and thrives in a fast paced environment where accuracy, organization, and customer service are essential.
While the title is HR Coordinator, this position plays a key role in supporting HR operations, HRIS administration, employee lifecycle transactions, reporting, and compliance. The ideal candidate is comfortable managing multiple priorities independently and has strong experience with Paylocity .
Responsibilities
- Administer employee transactions throughout the employee lifecycle including new hires, promotions, transfers, compensation changes, leaves of absence, and terminations
- Maintain and administer the HRIS, ensuring data accuracy and integrity
- Process HR transactions within Paylocity and troubleshoot system issues as needed
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes
- Prepare HR reports, audits, and workforce data for leadership
- Maintain employee files and HR documentation
- Assist with benefits administration and employee inquiries
- Support compliance with company policies and employment regulations
- Partner with payroll to ensure accurate employee information
- Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and administrative efficiency
- Provide outstanding customer service to employees and managers across the organization
Qualifications
- 3+ years of Human Resources experience in an HR Coordinator, HR Generalist, or HR Operations role
- Required: Hands on experience administering Paylocity
- Strong HRIS experience with a focus on employee transactions and data management
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision
- High level of professionalism and confidentiality
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
- Experience supporting benefits administration
- Experience with HR reporting and data analysis
- Process improvement mindset
