Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual, couple, and family therapy sessions via telehealth platforms to address a variety of mental health concerns.

• Assess and diagnose mental health disorders through comprehensive evaluations, ensuring thorough understanding of client histories.

• Develop personalized treatment plans in collaboration with clients that outline clear therapeutic goals and anticipated outcomes.

• Monitor and track client progress, adjusting treatment modalities as necessary to reflect their evolving needs.
\n
• Provide appropriate crisis intervention strategies when faced with clients in distress, including timely referrals to community resources as needed.

• Maintain meticulous and timely documentation of all client sessions and treatment progress in compliance with state licensing requirements and ethical standards.

• Engage in ongoing professional development activities, including attending workshops, conferences, and supervision sessions to enhance clinical skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clients you will serve include individuals, couples, and families from varying backgrounds facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, relationship issues, family conflict, and trauma. Your role is to provide a safe space for them to express themselves and facilitate constructive dialogues that promote healing and understanding.

Qualifications\n

• A valid license to practice as a Marriage and Family Therapist within the state of Illinois.

• A master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related mental health field.

• At least four years of professional experience in an outpatient mental health setting, demonstrating competence in therapeutic interventions and client management.

• Strong knowledge of evidence-based treatment approaches and modalities tailored for diverse populations.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on building rapport and trust with clients.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working with a range of presenting issues including trauma, grief, and LGBTQ+ concerns.

• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and virtual therapeutic techniques will be advantageous.

• Expertise in specific therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 95,000 , commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a robust salary, you will receive a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, paid time off, and retirement savings options.
