Description - What You Will Experience

• Conduct routine and sophisticated clinical lab tests-including chemistry, hematology, and immunology-guided by established protocols.
• Evaluate results for precision, diagnose issues, and perform preventative maintenance and calibration on laboratory instruments.
• Assist in specimen collection and prepare samples for analysis when necessary.
• Document all processes meticulously, mentor new staff and students, and contribute to maintaining the highest laboratory standards.
• Uphold cleanliness and safety within the workplace while following all regulatory and accreditation requirements.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be obtained within one year of hire.
• Maintain active certification throughout employment.
