Education Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a related allied health field, in addition to ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certification Necessities

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within one year of assuming the position.
• Ongoing maintenance of current certification throughout employment is required.
