Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments for students to identify emotional, social, and academic needs.

• Collaborate with teachers and school administrators to develop programs that promote mental health awareness and support for at-risk students.

• Coordinate with community organizations and resources to facilitate post-discharge services for students transitioning to different care settings.

• Provide crisis intervention and immediate emotional support to students in distress, ensuring a safe school environment.

• Engage with families to educate them on available resources and treatment options, fostering a supportive connection between home and school.

• Document all interactions and interventions accurately and in compliance with legal and organizational policies.

• Participate in staff training sessions and contribute to school mental health committees to elevate the overall psychological wellness of the student population.

Qualifications\n

• An accredited Master’s degree in Social Work.

• Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
