Key Responsibilities\n

• Utilize your education and clinical training to perform independent psychosocial assessments and diagnoses for patients encountering various mental health challenges.

• Collaborate closely with patients to develop individualized, patient-centered treatment plans that address their unique needs and circumstances.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as solution-focused therapy, behavioral activation, problem-solving treatment, and motivational interviewing, tailored to each patient's situation.

• Engage in collaborative care by coordinating with other mental health professionals, including psychologists and primary care providers, to ensure a holistic approach that supports each patient’s overall health.

• Monitor patient progress through systematic tracking of treatment outcomes, making adjustments to care as needed to align with treatment objectives.

• Assist patients with psychotropic medication management as prescribed, focusing on adherence, monitoring for side effects, and evaluating the efficacy of prescribed treatments.

As an LCSW at Magellan Healthcare, you will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, and various other mental health disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• A current, valid, and unrestricted LCSW license to practice independently within New York State.

Compensation and Benefits\n
