Key Responsibilities\n

• Utilize your educational background and clinical training to independently diagnose psychological and psychosocial conditions in patients.

• Collaborate closely with patients to formulate comprehensive, patient-centered treatment plans that reflect their specific goals and needs.

• Implement evidence-based behavioral interventions, employing a variety of therapeutic modalities such as solution-focused treatment, motivational interviewing, and behavioral activation.

• Facilitate clear communication and coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams, including psychologists, primary care providers, and support staff.

• Track patients’ treatment responses meticulously, conducting evaluations either virtually or in person to monitor and adjust care plans as necessary.

• Assist in the management of psychotropic medications prescribed by medical professionals, focusing on adherence, side-effect monitoring, and overall treatment effectiveness.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.

• Possession of a valid and unrestricted license to practice independently as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the State of New York.

• A minimum of 1 year of professional experience as an independently licensed therapist is mandatory.
