Account Manager

We are seeking a detail-oriented, proactive Account Manager to join the manufacturing team of a reputable company in Milford, MA! In this role, you will serve as the primary bridge between our key clients and internal operations. You will manage orders from initial quote to final delivery, ensuring clear communication, timely execution, and fast resolution of any operational challenges.

Responsibilities

• Key Account Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for strategic accounts, building strong relationships and providing proactive updates on order statuses, lead times, and project milestones.

• Order Processing & Quoting: Process incoming customer orders accurately, generate detailed project quotes, and translate customer requirements into internal work orders.

• Project Tracking & Expediting: Monitor jobs through every stage of production. Actively expedite critical orders, anticipate bottlenecks, and coordinate with shop floor managers to meet tight deadlines.

• Troubleshooting & Problem Solving: Identify and resolve order discrepancies, shipping delays, quality concerns, or specification changes quickly to maintain customer satisfaction.

• ERP Management: Utilize our ERP system daily to log account activity, maintain accurate customer records, track inventory, and generate status reports.
  
  
  
  
  Qualifications

• Experience: 3+ years of account management, customer service, or project coordination experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment.

• ERP System Proficiency: Hands-on experience using ERP software (e.g., SAP, Epicor, JobBOSS, NetSuite, or similar) for order entry and tracking.

• Industry Knowledge: Demonstrated understanding of manufacturing workflows, order processing, and quoting procedures.
