Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to develop individualized treatment plans aligned with clients’ needs and goals.

• Utilize a range of evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy, to address mental health challenges.

• Facilitate therapeutic sessions for individuals, couples, families, and groups, employing adaptive strategies to foster engagement and progress.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychologists, social workers, and medical professionals, to ensure comprehensive care and effective treatment delivery.

• Document clinical progress and client interactions accurately within electronic health record systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.

• Stay informed about advances in mental health treatment methodologies and participate in continuous professional development through workshops and trainings.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Caring Hands, you will be working with diverse individuals and families, many of whom may have limited access to traditional mental health services. Our clients come from various backgrounds and present with a wide array of challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and substance abuse. Your role will be pivotal in helping them navigate their mental health journeys and achieve meaningful improvements in their quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Current and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas is mandatory.

• At least two years of experience in clinical counseling is required.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Caring Hands Counseling Center offers a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 – 90,000 per year, commensurate with experience and caseload capacity. Our organizational structure allows for flexibility in caseload assignments, enabling you to balance your workload according to your availability.
