Lead Field Service Electronics Technician

Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Lead Field Service Technician. This role is located out of Franklin, MA. The expected annual salary range for this role is $69,000 - $101,000 a year. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Two (2) years of power systems, battery technologies and/or electronics experience including relevant coursework and internship experience. Possess and maintain a valid and unrestricted State Driver’s license. Must undergo and pass customer entrance requirements as needed, which may include, but is not limited to, periodic background checks and drug screenings. Daily travel to customer sites is required, utilizing an Eaton‑provided fleet vehicle. Provide support for customer needs outside the immediate region within the USA for a minimum of three (3) weeks per quarter. Must perform physical tasks as needed, including assisted lifting/carrying 50+ lbs., pushing/pulling, standing for extended periods, climbing, squatting, bending, kneeling, and driving long distances. We will not consider candidates who: Reside outside the greater Boston, MA area. Active‑duty military applicants are exempt from this location requirement. Three (3)+ years experience working with power systems, battery technologies and/or electronics. Electrical Technology Certificate. Ability to read electrical component schematic drawings and apply troubleshooting, testing, and repair techniques. Strong understanding of electrical theory, battery systems, and single- and three‑phase circuits. Strictly follow company/customer safety rules for a secure work environment.
