Job Title: Production Lead Position Number: To be completed by HR Location/Worksite: NMRLC Cheatham Annex, Williamsburg, VA Travel: As required Status: Full-Time, Contingent Upon Contract Award Clearance: U.S. Citizenship required; abilityto obtain and maintain Government background investigation and CAC Date Added: April 9, 2026 Job Summary The Production Lead Specialist leads and oversees material production and kitting operations to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and readiness in support of mission requirements. Duties and Responsibilities Lead material production and kitting operations supporting EXMEDS and other mission requirements. Direct daily production activities including material pull, kitting, labeling, database updates, and containerization. Identify and resolve material discrepancies in coordination with inventory and sustainment teams. Ensure production transactions and material movements are accurately documented in logistics systems. Supervise production staff and manage workflow to meet production schedules. Prepare and load containerized material into shipping containers or onto 463L aircraft pallets. Apply knowledge of shipping containers, air pallets, and load planning. Operate and oversee safe use of material handling equipment. Coordinate with transportation and Government personnel to support deployment readiness. Ensure compliance with safety and handling requirements. Perform additional duties as assigned by management. Required Qualifications Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Experience: Experience leading staff and executing production or kitting operations in a warehouse environment. Specialized Experience: Experience containerizing material and placing items into shipping containers or 463L aircraft pallets. Certifications: Valid U.S. driver's license; authorization to operate forklifts (4,000-6,000 lb). Preferred Qualifications None specified. EOE AA M/F/Vet/Disability
