Production Lead

Production Lead Are you a hands‑on logistics leader with experience directing daily production and kitting operations? Do you excel at coordinating teams and resolving issues to keep production moving efficiently and accurately? If so, this position offers an opportunity to directly support Navy Expeditionary Medical readiness. Position Description & Qualifications In this role, you will lead production staff in the execution of kitting, staging, labeling, and containerization operations. You will ensure materials are prepared correctly, discrepancies are resolved quickly, and production schedules are met. Your focus on accuracy and efficiency will support reliable deployment‑ready medical systems. In This Role You Will Lead production teams during kitting operations. Coordinate material pulls, labeling, and packaging. Resolve discrepancies and shortages. Support palletization and container loading. To Be Successful In This Role, You Will Have High School Diploma or GED. Experience leading production or kitting activities. U.S. Citizenship and ability to meet Government suitability requirements. A current and active NACI and PIV Credentials. US Citizenship is required and an active Secret Security Clearance is preferred. Active Secret Clearance, or the ability to obtain one within 30 days. Valid driver’s license and ability to operate approved delivery vehicles. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate, audit‑ready documentation. A current OSHA certification or willingness to obtain one. Successful background checks including fingerprint checks and drug screenings. Ability to work on‑site daily Monday through Friday at the Cheatham Annex, near Williamsburg, Virginia. Preferred Qualifications Experience with EXMEDS production. Familiarity with 463L pallets and containers. Valid forklift license (4K–6K and stand‑up forklifts) or ability to obtain one.
