Invoicing Representative
Job Type: Contract
Location: Highland Hills, OH
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $18–$20/hour
Key Responsibilities
- Match client invoices with supporting timecards and payroll documentation.
- Review invoices for accuracy, completeness, and customer-specific billing requirements.
- Submit invoices to clients and end debtors within required deadlines.
- Research and resolve invoice discrepancies, billing exceptions, and variances.
- Communicate with clients regarding billing issues and required resolutions.
- Partner with Customer Service Representatives, Team Leads, and operational teams.
- Maintain accurate records of invoicing activities and adjustments.
- Manage daily, weekly, and month-end billing deadlines.
- Monitor work to meet established accuracy, quality, and productivity standards.
- Escalate unresolved issues to management as appropriate.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Customer-focused and proactive approach.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a high-volume environment.
- Ability to use multiple software applications, including Microsoft Office.
- Previous invoicing/billing experience: Preferred .
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with invoicing or billing operations.
- Understanding of basic accounting principles.
- Knowledge of payroll taxes, Accounts Payable (A/P), Accounts Receivable (A/R), or cash posting.
Compensation
$18–$20/hour
