Regional Sales Director, Northeast Region - Home Infusion

Location: Based in New York, with direct oversight of New York state operations, which have historically been managed remotely from Ohio. Reports To: Senior Commercial Leadership About Our Client Our client is a home infusion and ambulatory infusion services provider with a 14-year track record of growth and acquisition. The organization has built a nursing network covering every county in New York, operates four pharmacies, and recently acquired an ambulatory infusion center, creating a strong foundation for continued expansion. The company specializes in neurology and immunology cases, with particular strength in IVIG (intravenous immunoglobulin) infusions, and has completed two acquisitions in New York within the past 18 months. As the organization continues scaling its operations, it is expanding its commercial presence across the Northeast to align with its growing infrastructure and market opportunity. Position Summary Our client is seeking an experienced Regional Sales Director to lead and grow its sales organization across New York, New Jersey, and Philadelphia. This newly created leadership role was designed to strengthen and modernize regional operations and will be responsible for leading an existing team of six sales representatives while expanding the organization to approximately 10-12 team members through strategic hiring, onboarding, coaching, and development. This is a highly visible position directly tied to the company's growth strategy and offers the opportunity to help shape the future structure of a rapidly expanding organization. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the regional sales team across New York, New Jersey, and Philadelphia Grow the team from six representatives to approximately 10-12 representatives Recruit, interview, hire, and onboard new team members across the territory, including: Two Downstate New York positions One New Jersey position One Philadelphia position Coach and develop team members ranging from entry-level medical sales professionals to experienced infusion specialists Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing coaching and feedback Build and maintain a strong regional culture aligned with company values Territory & Market Strategy Own and execute the commercial strategy across New York, New Jersey, and Philadelphia Drive growth within neurology and immunology specialties with a strong emphasis on IVIG and related infusion therapies Identify and develop underserved markets throughout the region Nursing coverage across every New York county Recently acquired ambulatory infusion capabilities Performance Management Monitor individual and team performance against revenue and referral goals Track referral activity, patient retention, and new business development efforts Provide ongoing reporting to leadership regarding performance, hiring progress, and market opportunities Lead the transition from remote oversight to direct in-market leadership Relationship Management Develop and maintain relationships with physicians, medical office staff, nurses, and office managers throughout the region Support representatives with complex accounts and institutional opportunities as needed Serve as a visible leadership presence within the healthcare and referral community Qualifications Required Prior leadership experience managing a sales team within Infusion Strong preference for candidates with significant IVIG and/or infusion sales experience Approximately 10+ years of relevant industry experience is highly preferred Proven success recruiting, developing, and retaining top-performing sales talent Demonstrated ability to achieve revenue and growth objectives Strong communication and relationship-building skills Minimal or manageable non-compete restrictions Preferred Experience and understanding of infusion services and competitive market dynamics Familiarity with regional recruiting trends and competitive landscape Ideal Candidate Profile Strong cultural fit with a close-knit, high-performing leadership team Comfortable operating with autonomy while building and developing a regional structure Motivated by both team development and accountability for growth results Ability to effectively lead both developing and highly experienced sales professionals Compensation Base Salary: $185,000 - Can be flexible for right candidate Additional variable compensation tied to team and territory performance Competitive overall compensation package with flexibility for the right candidate Hiring Process Resume review within 24 hours of submission 60-90 minute in-person interview with the hiring manager Hiring process typically completed within 1-2 weeks #J-18808-Ljbffr Novo
