This position is a role that combines administrative responsibilities with warehouse coordination, making it ideal for someone who enjoys both office work and hands-on involvement in daily operations.Job SummaryCoordinate and schedule outbound shipments with transportation carriersMonitor shipment status and assist with resolving shipping discrepanciesCommunicate with internal teams regarding order status and shipping needsDirect incoming drivers and assist with check-in and check-out proceduresCoordinate loading and unloading activities with warehouse personnelAudit shipments for accuracy prior to departureProcess shipping documentation and invoicingMonitor and respond to shipping-related emails and inquiriesAssist with order fulfillment and warehouse operations as neededLocationIndianapolis, INPosition TypeFull-Time, Evaluation-to-HireScheduleMonday-Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PMPay$20.00/hourQualificationsMinimum of 2 years of warehouse, logistics, shipping, receiving, inventory, or administrative experienceStrong computer skills, including Microsoft OfficeExperience working with inventory, warehouse management, transportation, or ERP systems preferredAbility to learn new software and processes quicklyStrong communication and organizational skillsAbility to perform basic math and inventory-related calculationsForklift experience preferredAbility to read and interpret shipping documents and order informationHigh School Diploma or equivalentPhysical RequirementsAbility to lift up to 50 poundsAbility to stand, walk, bend, twist, and move throughout the warehouse as neededComfortable working in both an office and warehouse environmentAbout Express Employment ProfessionalsExpress Employment Professionals helps people find great jobs and companies find great workers.
