Accounts Payable Specialist I - PC - 56943158 Schedule: M-F 8-5:00 Software Experience: some Excel. AS400 preferred Skills needed: AP background, Expense background. Hard working Responsibilities Charge expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoice/expense reports; recording entries. Pay vendors by monitoring discount opportunities; verifying federal ID numbers. Resolve purchase order, contract, invoice, or payment discrepancies and documentation. Ensure credit is received for outstanding memos; issue stop-payments or purchase order amendment. Prepare checks; protect organization's value by keeping information confidential. Continuously improve the payment process and reconcile processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances. Qualifications 0-3 Years of Experience. AP background and expense reporting experience. Experience with Excel; AS400 preferred. Hard working and detail oriented. #J-18808-Ljbffr
