Travel Registered Nurse ER Job

Overview
Registered Nurse - ER travel assignment in Reedley, California, starting 09/21/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range of $2,071-$2,174 per week with 36 guaranteed hours. Night shift comprised of 3x12-hour shifts. This assignment is in a Critical Access Hospital setting and requires active RN licensure in the state of practice, current BLS, and relevant emergency department experience. BSN is preferred; EPIC experience is required.

Responsibilities
- Deliver direct nursing care to ER patients using the nursing process, including data collection, assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation
- Administer medications, procedures, and treatments as ordered; monitor patient responses and adjust care as needed
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and ancillary staff to coordinate comprehensive patient care and discharge planning
- Supervise and direct nursing staff at various levels; promote a safe, healing environment and maintain patient safety and infection control standards
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes in the electronic medical record (EPIC); provide clear, timely communication to the treatment team
- Provide education to patients and families; participate in ongoing learning opportunities and performance improvement activities

Requirements
- RN license: Active, in-state licensure for the practice location
- Education: BSN preferred
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent ER or acute care nursing experience
- Certifications: BLS required; ACLS and PALS required; EPIC experience required
- Specialty requirements: Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced ER environment and participate in discharge planning
