Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Schedule

12 hour nights | 1845-0715, every other weekend required, holiday requirement as needed.

Assignment Details

Contract Length: 13 weeks Guaranteed Hours: 12 hours per shift.

Requirements

• RN license
• AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS & NRP
• 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience required
• Must be willing to float to Medical-Surgical units and care for pediatric patients
• Experience with EPIC preferred
• Completion of fetal monitoring class (intermediate or advanced) within the last 24 months
• Must be fully committed to obtaining PALS prior to start

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in Labor and Delivery setting
• Monitor and assess patient needs
• Assist in the delivery process and post-delivery care
• Collaborate with healthcare team to provide optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care
• Float as needed to other units if required

Compliance / Notes

Orientation will be virtual, followed by on-unit training. Bi-weekly pay cycle.
