Multifamily Project Manager

Project ManagerAn established multifamily general contractor is seeking a Project Manager to oversee ground-up and affordable housing projects throughout Southern California. The ideal candidate brings a strong multifamily background and understands the coordination, financial management, and field execution required to successfully deliver apartment projects.Key ResponsibilitiesManage multifamily projects from preconstruction through closeoutOversee project budgets, contracts, cost controls, forecasting, and change managementCoordinate subcontractors, consultants, owners, architects, and internal project teamsManage RFIs, submittals, procurement, and project documentationPartner closely with field leadership to maintain schedule and resolve construction issuesReview project costs and identify potential budget or schedule impactsLead owner and project team meetings and provide clear project updatesSupport subcontractor buyout and scope reviewMonitor project quality, contractual requirements, and overall performanceMaintain strong communication between office and field teamsRequirements5+ years of construction experience with significant multifamily project exposureStrong ground-up multifamily experience requiredAffordable housing or market-rate apartment experience strongly preferredPodium construction experience highly preferredWalk-up and other wood-frame multifamily experience consideredStrong understanding of project financials, contracts, scheduling, and subcontractor managementAbility to manage multiple project priorities and deadlinesStrong communication and owner-facing skillsProcore, Bluebeam, and related construction software experience preferredBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferredCompensation & BenefitsMedical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) benefitsPaid holidays and PTO & more
