At Puttery, every visit is a reason to celebrate.Job PurposeThe Event Sales Manager is responsible for driving event revenue through both rapid lead conversion and proactive outbound business development. This role owns the full sales cycle: from prospecting and lead response to booking, execution coordination, and repeat business development. This is a multi-centric, externally facing role for a sales professional who moves quickly, works intelligently across channels, and actively embeds themselves in the city to build sustainable, long-term clientele. Success in this role requires urgency, creativity, discipline, and the confidence to represent the Puttery brand in market.ResponsibilitiesRespond rapidly and professionally to inbound event leads across all channels, maintaining high conversion standards and response-time expectationsQualify leads efficiently and guide clients through event options, packages, pricing, and timelinesManage the full booking lifecycle, including proposals, contracts, deposits, and confirmationsMaintain accurate, real-time data in CRM and sales tracking systemsForecast event revenue and manage a disciplined sales pipelineActively generate new business through outbound prospecting, networking, and relationship-buildingRepresent Puttery in the local market through site tours, industry events, community partnerships, and brand activationsBuild relationships with corporate planners, social event organizers, hospitality partners, and local organizationsIdentify creative, non-traditional methods to get in front of potential clients and decision-makersConvert one-time events into repeat and recurring clienteleServe as a visible brand ambassador for Puttery in the cityAdvocate confidently for the brand, experience, and value proposition in external conversationsCollaborate with marketing and operations to align promotions, event execution, and guest experienceStay informed on local market trends, competitors, and event demandPartner closely with operations, culinary, beverage, and floor leadership to ensure seamless event executionCommunicate event details clearly to internal teams to deliver on client expectationsParticipate in post-event follow-up to drive retention, referrals, and future bookingsQualifications3+ years of experience in event sales, hospitality sales, nightlife, or experiential venuesProven ability to manage high lead volume while maintaining quality and urgencyDemonstrated success in outbound sales or proactive lead generationStrong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skillsComfortable representing the brand externally and operating independently in the marketOrganized, detail-oriented, and confident working across CRM and sales systemsFlexible mindset with the ability to adapt sales techniques to different client types and environmentsWorking ConditionsFull-time role with a mix of on-site, office, and off-site market engagementEvening and weekend availability may be required based on event schedules and client needsHigh-energy, guest-facing environment with performance-based expectationsRegular movement throughout the venue and participation in city-based outreachPuttery is committed to equal opportunity in the workplace, preventing discrimination and harassment, including sexual misconduct, based on legally protected diversity characteristics (such as race, color, religion, national origin, sex, age, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, family status, citizenship, genetic information and veteran status) in its application and hiring processes and in its employment decisions.
